I've been writing off and on for as long as I can remember, but only writing seriously for four years or so, ever since I joined a writers group called The Fishtank. When I joined I was a "raw talent", waiting to be polished and shaped. Twelve months later, I had a better understanding of character development, plot structure, passive and active sentences… yadda yadda yadda. In short, I was ready for the big bad world of publishing.
The first piece of work I sold was to a member's only website called Ruthie's Club, a site which publishes fresh erotica each week and illustrates it. That first story was called Scratched and is now available for free from Phaze.com as a Phaze Flare.
Since then I've sold a host of stories to Ruthie's, who maintain the exclusive rights to them for their members for six months. Some of those stories who's exclusive period has lapsed are now available to read for free on this website, the rest are going to be added soon.
In April 2008 I published Charlotte's Secret through Phaze. My second novella, Lost
& Found, was released two months later. What makes my stories stand out from the
crowd is that I write from the hero's point of view rather than the heroin's. Straight

Apart from this website – marcnobbs.co.uk I maintain a blog, which some people tell me is quite entertaining. I'm also on a bunch of social networking sites (see the icons above), so please feel free to add me as a friend. I also contribute to The Britwriters blog – all of the authors are Brits who’s publishers are US based. We write fascinating articles about life in Britain.
What am I working on right now? Eternally & Evermore will be published by Phaze in Summer 2010 and also in 2010, Kissed by a Rose will be released in a print edition. I’m currently working on an as yet untitled piece about a bunch of students at Westmouth University.
I guess that's all you need to know about me. I'm a British male in a predominantly female field—and I love it.

Marc started writing erotica in the late Nineties. He freely admits that what he produced back then was complete and utter tosh. But at least it was hot, sexy tosh. In 2004 he found Desdmona’s Fishtank (where for some obscure reason they still call him Knobbie). With the help of the wonderful authors he met there, his writing improved by leaps and bounds. He now has a much better idea what commas are for, understands plot structure and character development and has a panic attack every time he writes a passive sentence.
When he’s not writing erotica, reading erotica, or working, Marc enjoys DIY and gardening
(at least, that’s what his wife tells him), and shouting at rubbish footballers who
aren’t worth the money they’re paid. He also enjoys beating his father-
