A Good Long While
It’s been a good long while since I posted anything on this site that wasn’t just a “sorry I’ve been absent” post or a status update of current projects. And that’s partly because when I’ve had “something to say” I’ve said it on a different blog.
In a post on that other blog, I wrote about how paying the annual invoice for my web hosting and domains package led me to set up multiple WordPress installations. And so, even though “back in the day”, as they say, I regularly wrote on here about all sorts of things—from politics to TV and movies—these days when I feel the inclination to do that, I do it on the blog under my “real” name and this author site has become just that—a site about my author persona.
But going forward I’ll be copying some of the posts from the other blog onto this one and I’ll try my best to write some posts exclusively for this site that aren’t just about me and my writing.
At least, that’s the plan.
But that’s always the plan. Isn’t it?
It just never quite works out that way.
