The Truths We Live—the very much long-awaited sequel to 2015’s The Lies We Lead—will hit Amazon Kindle devices on 4th April 2021.
I’m happy to say that I met my self-imposed target of completing the first full read-through of The Truths We Live by this weekend with ease. I actually completed the read-through on Thursday evening.
I don’t deadlines when it comes to my writing—I get enough of deadlines at work, I don’t need them in an activity that’s supposed to be a hobby.
But I am happy to set goals. Goals aren’t deadlines. Deadlines get you in to trouble if you miss them. Goals… Not so much.
I thought it might be worthwhile just posting a little update with where I’m at with the various projects I’m working on.
So… I have a first draft of The Truths We Live. I think I’ve been able to find the balance that I spoke about a couple of days ago and I’m happy with where I’ve left Bobby & co for now. I mentioned in my last blog post that I’d reached a stage in The Truths We Live that was causing me some bother.
Well, I’m please to say that I’ve written said blog post and got past the roadblock.
One of the fun things about writing “The Truths We Live” has been coming up with different types of scenes for Bobby’s burgeoning “Movie Career”. If you’ve read “The Lies We Lead” you may recall he filmed an audition with Amber where she played a teenager in her bedroom reading a dirty book on her […]
It’s been over two years since I last published anything. That was The Lies We Lead. It’s been over three years since I released the second book in the Paul Robertson Saga, A Tortured Soul. So what have I been doing in the meantime, when’s my next book going to come out and what the […]
It’s been just about six months since my last post on this blog, over a year since my last post on the “From Across the Pond” blog and about five months since a post on “The Grumpy Blog”. All of which is unforgivable. I have tried to keep up a presence on Facebook and twitter […]
