I\u2019d like to thank Mr Nobbs for kindly donating his blog for these interviews. Let\u2019s meet my first guest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why don\u2019t you introduce yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Because if I didn\u2019t no-one would know who I was, silly.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>No, that\u2019s not what I meant. Just, introduce yourself. Please.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Okay. I\u2019m Laura Smith.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>And you\u2019re Adam\u2019s little sister?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>No. Adam\u2019s my big brother.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Okay. Erm, well, why don\u2019t\u2026 I mean, tell me about your role in the novel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Oh, that, well, obviously, if it wasn\u2019t for me there wouldn\u2019t even be a novel. Would there?<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>There wouldn\u2019t? Why not?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Because. Look, right at the start, on the first page even, <\/i>I <i>tell Adam about Chloe going to university with him. He wouldn\u2019t know if didn\u2019t tell him.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>It think he might\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>And, I suggested to him that he should try and get Chloe as his girlfriend, didn\u2019t I? So, like, if I hadn\u2019t suggested it, he wouldn\u2019t have been thinking about it and they never would have got together, would they?<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>I don\u2019t think we ought to be giving away the plot before the book is released, should we?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Who\u2019s giving the plot away? I mean, if they didn\u2019t get together, why would they say the book is about them? It\u2019s pretty obvious when you think about it. Besides, that\u2019s not the point of the plot is it? The point of the plot is when\u2014<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Like I said, we shouldn\u2019t really give anything away. Let\u2019s move on. Do you just appear at the start?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Oh, no. I\u2019m in it later on when Chloe has to\u2014<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t give the plot away!<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>Oh, right sorry.
