As part of this one thing I&#8217;m doing is adding fake tweets and text messages to the manuscript. These will carry through into the eBook and while it will make the eBook file larger to do this, I hope it will add to the experience of reading it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s quite a bit of &#8216;banter&#8217; between some of the characters on Twitter early on in the book. Obviously, I&#8217;m going to have to make sure that each and every one of these fake tweets have an &#8220;alt-text&#8221; containing the text of the tweet so that screen-readers can pick it up and anyone using them doesn&#8217;t miss out.
