I was away with the family last week, so that\u2019s why there were no blog updates. My wife is a teacher, and my daughter is still at school, so last week was the October half-term, and we took the opportunity to see our son, who is now living four hours away at university.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He doesn\u2019t get a half term, so we didn\u2019t see him as much as we\u2019d have liked, but he\u2019s in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, and we were able to walk along the stunning South Wales coastline. Just spectacular. I\u2019d argue it\u2019s one of Britain\u2019s best-kept secrets, and not enough people outside of South Wales know how beautiful it is.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I was able to publish three WIP chapters of A Healing Love to Ream because I queued them up beforehand, and another one went up today (Tuesday), so that\u2019s a positive.<\/p>\n

Another positive is that I could do a fair bit of work on the manuscript in the evenings while we were away, and I managed to complete chapter 23 and push the word count up to over 100,000, making it my third-longest manuscript thus far. I suspect it will soon surpass A Wounded Heart into second place, but I don\u2019t know if it will overtake A Tortured Soul or not to become the longest. That would take another twenty thousand words, which at the current average chapter length is about four or five chapters. That\u2019s certainly a possibility.<\/p>\n

I expect to post one more chapter of A Healing Love to Ream this week, and then I\u2019ll do three next week. That will take us up to chapter twelve – about halfway through the manuscript as it stands today. I would encourage anyone reading these chapters to comment on the story where you can. Tell me what you liked or what you didn\u2019t. Be as specific or as vague as you want. All feedback is welcomed and will be considered during the first edit.
