If you’re in contact with me on Facebook, you may have noticed a few things. If you’re not… why the hell not? Facebook Friend<\/a> me right now.<\/p>\n

Basically I have three\u00a0pretty awesome developments on the Facebook front. First off, I now have a Facebook “Page”<\/a> as opposed to just a “profile”. Oh, I still have the profile – but I’m told having a Page that people can “Like” without having to necessarily be my friend, is a good thing.<\/p>\n

Who said social networks were complicated?<\/p>\n

The second thing that has happened is the creation of my “Street Team”, which go by the name of the “Spice Nymphs” – don’t ask where that name came from. It’s a long story.<\/p>\n

Now, I’ll be honest, I had no idea what a Street Team even was until a couple of weeks ago. And now, lo and behold, I have one. It’s a small team right now, but they are all wonderful ladies and I get on well with them. They are helping to promote me and my books and it seems to be working. Word seems to be getting around.<\/p>\n

Finally, I’ve been doing “takeovers” – events where I rock up on someone else’s page or event and spend an hour chatting with people. It’s a lot of fun and I’ve got another one coming up in August. Maybe I’ll see you there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
