General Update

I'm happy to report that A Healing Love has now passed the 85,000-word mark and has overtaken The Truths We Live in terms of word count. It should overtake Eternally & Evermore soon (E&E is just under 87,000 words)

I had stalled this week on Chapter 19. It was one of those instances that all writers get: You have the scene laid out in your head, but finding the time, will, or motivation to type it out was proving challenging. As is always the case, when I eventually did get around to typing it out, it played out slightly differently than the plan in my head.

Which isn’t a good thing or a bad thing; it’s just what happens.

I haven’t finished chapter 19, and there is still more of the scene to write, but I know what will happen and how, so it’s just about finding the time to write it. By the looks of it, this will end up being one of the longest chapters. It’s currently just over 5,000 words and will probably top 6,000 when I close it out.

For context, the longest chapter of the book so far is chapter 10, which is 6,150 words, and the average chapter length is 4,500 words.

On my new Ream Stories page, I’ve uploaded all sixteen Westmouthshire Short Stories, the four standalone Westmouthshire novels and the two standalone Westmouthshire novellas. All of these are available to members in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate tiers.

I’ve also uploaded A Good Man to the Postgraduate tier, with the other two Paul Robertson novels and Lies Series novels to follow. All of these are Postgraduate tier only.

Once all that is done, I’ll begin uploading the “work in progress” chapters from A Healing Love and the third Lies Series novel. I haven’t decided on a release schedule yet. I can make it “regular” up to the point where I’ve posted everything I’ve written, but after that, it will very much be a case of posting a chapter as it is completed. This will be for Postgraduate tier members only.
