Today is my last day with my trusty 407. Lovely car, best I’ve ever had. Never gave me any real trouble, she’s been a very loyal workhouse these past six years or so. But she’s got to go. She’s far, far too thirsty with today’s fuel prices. So she’s being traded in for a newer model.
Kind of.
What’s actually happening is that we’re trading in my 407, who only has a month of her MoT left and will need new tyres, brakes and possibly exhaust to get through the next one, I’m having Mrs Nobbs ‘old’ car and she’s getting the ‘new’ one.
In memory of my lovely car, and my last journey in her in a few hours time (aside from driving her to her destiny, which i don’t think counts) here are a few pictures I took this morning after parking up. Please excuse the fact that she needs a wash, she too hard a worker not to get dirty doing her job.
