Basically I have three pretty awesome developments on the Facebook front. First off, I now have a Facebook “Page” as opposed to just a “profile”. Oh, I still have the profile – but I’m told having a Page that people can “Like” without having to necessarily be my friend, is a good thing.

Who said social networks were complicated?
The second thing that has happened is the creation of my “Street Team”, which go by the name of the “Spice Nymphs” – don’t ask where that name came from. It’s a long story.
Now, I’ll be honest, I had no idea what a Street Team even was until a couple of weeks ago. And now, lo and behold, I have one. It’s a small team right now, but they are all wonderful ladies and I get on well with them. They are helping to promote me and my books and it seems to be working. Word seems to be getting around.
Finally, I’ve been doing “takeovers” – events where I rock up on someone else’s page or event and spend an hour chatting with people. It’s a lot of fun and I’ve got another one coming up in August. Maybe I’ll see you there.
